HOLDIPHARMA are working with the private sector to build 5 factories that would produce upto 100 raw items before 2025. They have a budget of EGP 2.5 billion for investments from three anonymous sources, according to Asharq Business 28th March.

The plan has set a target of hitting a fifth of the markets needs for raw pharmaceuticals and reducing import expenditures in the process.

A source has stated that El-Nasr Pharmaceutical Chemicals Company, which is affiliated with HOLDIPHARMA is finalising the building of one of the five factories with private pharmaceutical companies. The factory will have the capacity of creating up to seventy tonnes per annum.

It has been revealed that HOLDIPHARMA will shortly sign the contract, with the largest Indian company for the manufacture of raw materials.
